Programs

Tae Kwon Do literally means the "art of fist and foot fighting". Students will learn simple and effective self defense along with traditional poses which are set to a pattern of movement. Along with a cardiovascular workout using the kicks and punches learned, students will gain more focus, confidence, mind/body control and coordination. Students will also be able to participate in Olympic style sparring and try the sporting aspect of the Tae Kwon Do well. There is a $40 uniform fee payable to the instructor. Uniforms are encouraged but are not required.

Per West Hartford Leisure Services Policy, this is a drop-off program and only registered participants are allowed in the room.
