Daytime Pottery Handbuilding
Beginning to intermediate students are welcome – no previous experience with clay is needed for this class which will introduce students to basic pottery techniques of pinch, coil, and slab building. We’ll explore shape, texture, and pattern, and study and be inspired by pottery designs of different cultures as well as more recent works on display in the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Pieces will be glazed and fired to take home.
